2012 - 2013 NBA PREVIEW:
Top 10 Fantasy Basketball Centers

Fantasy Basketball Centers can be broken down in a few different ways, as some power forwards are also considered to be centers. Some other centers do qualify ONLY as centers though. In our list of Top 10 Fantasy Basketball Centers, we'll include players who are typically considered to be both power forwards and centers as well as only centers.

Minnesota Timberwolves LogoKevin Love (C / PF - Minnesota Timberwolves)

Love is an absolute beast. He can do it all and do it well. Love is a threat to score major points, pull down 15+ rebounds, and dish off assists also - crazy value for daily fantasy. Love is going to be a top pick in most fantasy drafts, and you shouldn't have a doubt in your mind about jumping on him. In Daily Fantasy games, he should always be considered even at high salary cap values.

Philadelphia 76ers LogoAndrew Bynum (C - Philadelphia 76ers)

Bynum excelled last season, but now he's on a new team though. He's going to be out to prove something though and show that he deserves a massive new contract. Expect Bynum to put up nice fantasy numbers and also to be the go-to option in Philadelphia this season.

Los Angeles Lakers LogoDwight Howard (C - Los Angeles Lakers)

D12/Superman is officially on his new team in Los Angeles. He's also in a situation where he's going to be resigning a new contract, and will demand a max contract no matter what. With a player that has this type of force and ability to dominate a game, you can't pass him up from a fantasy perspective. He will be one of the top fantasy basketball centers in 2012-2013.

Utah Jazz LogoAl Jefferson (C / F - Utah Jazz)

Al Jefferson is a part of a two-headed fantasy monster in Utah with Paul Millsap, with both of them being able to dominate the paint. This is going to open things up for one another, and could mean some big games for both. There were times last season where both players put up big numbers, so don't let Jefferson fall too far in your fantasy draft.

Memphis Grizzlies LogoMarc Gasol (C - Memphis Grizzlies)

The "other" Gasol brother, may have become the Gasol brother drawing the most attention. He's been a huge part of the Memphis Grizzlies success, and he's slowly getting better each season. He's going to be considered a sleeper pick and I think you're going to get a steal if you can grab him. In Daily Fantasy Basketball games, he should often be undervalued making him a good pick.

Sacramento Kings LogoDeMarcus Cousins (C / F - Sacramento Kings)

Cousins had some on and off the court issues in the past, but everyone in the Kings organization is hoping that is a thing of the past. In my opinion it is, and I think that he's going to be a force this season. He showed signs of brilliance last year at times, and I expect it to carry over in the 2012-2013 season.

Los Angeles Lakers LogoPau Gasol (C - Los Angeles Lakers)

There are going to be a LOT of lanes opening up for Gasol with Howard now in LA. Gasol is going to be playing the pick and roll with Steve Nash as well, who is one of the best passers in the NBA so he could in for one of the best years of his entire career. He could be in for a huge fantasy year in the Centers category.

Atlanta Hawks LogoAl Horford (C - Atlanta Hawks)

After Al Horford went down to an injury last season, many people sort of forgot about him. He's back though and he'll be fully ready to roll. I think that Horford is going to be one of the biggest and best players on the Hawks this season. He could be a real sleeper in most fantasy basketball pools and daily games.

Oklahoma City Thunder LogoSerge Ibaka (C - Oklahoma City Thunder)

Ibaka is slowly getting better and better each season, and last year at the end of the season he was on top of his game. Ibaka is beginning to look like a real player in this league, and he's causing major issues for opposing big men with his ability to block shots. He's a stat stuffer that you are going to want on your fantasy team whether playing a full-season draft or daily cash games.

Portland Trailblazers LogoLaMarcus Aldridge (C / PF - Portland Trailblazers)

Aldridge is in a similar situation as Horford in that he was injured at the end of last year and was sort of forgotten about. He's an absolute beast down low and is likely to be a high fantasy draft pick as well. If he falls a bit in your draft he could end up being a nice sleeper pick.
